Preparing for the End Times

As regards BRICS (Brazil, Russian, India, China, and South Africa*) trying to take over the dollar, some advisors call this the end times and tell us that we should be stocking up on food and other essentials with which to ride out the end times. Certainly, within reason, that is good advice. More important is preparing ourselves spiritually.

In the end times, nothing can protect us when the bad boys start playing dirty: not living in caves, not amassing a stockpile of toilet paper, not installing all the solar panels and wind turbines in the world. In this life, the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and the power mad start wars, both military and financial.

Our Dear Heavenly Father commands us to be anxious for nothing and to know that He is with us wherever we go (Joshua 1:9). The answer lies in recognizing the signs that the end is approaching and to make sure our hearts, minds, and souls are with Our Dear Heavenly Father. Jesus tells us that He returned to Heaven to prepare room for us, that where he is we may be also (John 14: 2-3). So, let's stop worrying and start “prepping” in a spiritual way. That is the best and safest investment any of us can make.
